LIFE IN DA GOOGLEPLEX
MY DREAM : to visit the Googleplex just once AND to work for Google Inc.
If you didnt know, now you do :)
This is a photoessay (yes yhere is such a thing) I found about LIFE IN THE GOOGLEPLEX at Google's headquarters at 1600 Ampitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043......yeash i know their address offhand :)
There are tonnes of videos and articles out there about life at the Googleplex but I liked these.

Slide #1 - no uniforms or professional attire.......here we come jeans and a baby-t !!!
Slide #2 - gone are the days of 'standby medical care'......introducing 'standby technology care' !!!
Slide #3 - I had to use Google to google what a 'swim-in-place' pool was at Google Inc
Slide #4 - Google has there very own monogramed cups yes! I also know that their plates for employees at lunchtime are the 4 colours of Google, so are their chairs and napkins etc.........totally cool !!!
Slide #5 - their interior designs are totally radical and awesomely cool.....i like, i like !!!
Slide #6, #10 - most companies promote health welfare and subsidise employees' gym fees but at da Googleplex its all about subsidised massges and haircuts...... health and image !!!
Slide #7 - if i was working at da Googleplex, i would be playin volleyball every single day of my Google career life
Slide #8 - free food!!! This trini would fit right in.....and gourmet meals too!!!
Slide #9 - "young-at-heart Googlers"........ohhhh, what a cute phrase !!!
Slide # 11 - doggy day care !!! (they need a kitty day care tho)

How do you find the TIME?
Any company who encourages and promotes, comfort and happiness for its employees are bound to have an extremely productive and creative workforce, unless they are Trinis, who are prone to take happiness too seriously.
In the search engine business companies have to keep searching for ways to stay ahead and to be the first with useful and unambiguous things like the popular "I'm Feeling Lucky" button. This one button has caused so much Saturday Night disappointment throughout the world that it might be soon banned in some nightclubs and bedrooms.
Rumor also has it that Google may soon become a country, with its own flag, national anthem, and presidential scandals. I for one would apply for residence since writing my country's name in four colors has been a lifelong dream.
Power to the Googleplex and may they replace office complexes and other forms of prisons in the near future :)
wow... i was told that working in google was fun but i didnt really take it on...but now i am convinced.
the attitude of my company will be like google but i dont think i will make THAT much money lol... i wonder "if u cant beat them, join them" ?
i not to sure a company with the attitude of google will do well in trinidad (you know we so laid back sometimes and we does stick :P)
sad thing is... by the time i ready to make my mark in the tech world -- google will have all the brainiacs and the best ideas...
seems its best i head to plan B, doubles by the airport... time to make some real USD :D :D
