LIFE IN DA GOOGLEPLEX

MY DREAM : to visit the Googleplex just once AND to work for Google Inc.

If you didnt know, now you do :)

This is a photoessay (yes yhere is such a thing) I found about LIFE IN THE GOOGLEPLEX at Google's headquarters at 1600 Ampitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043......yeash i know their address offhand :)

Slide #1 - no uniforms or professional attire.......here we come jeans and a baby-t !!!

Slide #2 - gone are the days of 'standby medical care'......introducing 'standby technology care' !!!

Slide #3 - I had to use Google to google what a 'swim-in-place' pool was at Google Inc

Slide #4 - Google has there very own monogramed cups yes! I also know that their plates for employees at lunchtime are the 4 colours of Google, so are their chairs and napkins etc.........totally cool !!!

Slide #5 - their interior designs are totally radical and awesomely cool.....i like, i like !!!

Slide #6, #10 - most companies promote health welfare and subsidise employees' gym fees but at da Googleplex its all about subsidised massges and haircuts...... health and image !!!

Slide #7 - if i was working at da Googleplex, i would be playin volleyball every single day of my Google career life

Slide #8 - free food!!! This trini would fit right in.....and gourmet meals too!!!

Slide #9 - "young-at-heart Googlers"........ohhhh, what a cute phrase !!!

Ok I am a likkle late but i saw the much hyped SHAKIRA video for "Her Hips Dont Lie" for the 1st time 2nite.

All I have to say is: SHE COULD FRIGGIN GET IT !!!!

I dont have to even be a man, as a woman I am saying Shakira could get it.

She makes even a woman "wanna speak Spanish".

I am a woman and watching Shakira's video turned me on !!!

"I never really knew that she could dance like this" .....fa shizzle !!!

I CAN HARDLY WAIT.....

Exams (for 2nd semester Masters courses) start next week.
After this I wont have to write exams for the next 2 years of my life.
I just need to make it through the exam pressure for the next 3 weeks.
I feel like if the mandatory part of my life (academic wise) is almost over.
I cant wait to be free and begin to live life on a whole new dimension.

"EVERYBODY AH ONLINE, SHIZZLE MA NIZZLE "

My friend recently informed me that I have a problem because according to some survey published, if you spend more than 3 hours a day online EVERYDAY then you are addicted to the Internet.

For the record, 3 hours is minimal time for me to spend online.

The first thing I do when I wake up from sleep(before I even go to the toilet or brush my teeth) is roll over from my bed to my pc chair and go online. I start my day online.
I start my day the online way !

The first thing I do when I come home from class is go online. I relax during the day online.
I go through my day the online way !

The last thing I do before I go to sleep is go online. I finish my day online.
I finish my day the online way !

• I get tizic if I didnt go online for the day.

• I must check my mail at least once for the day if I am to survive.

• I am always making mental notes of what would make an interesting blog post.

• I get excited to see I have a new index by Google (yes I have Google alerts for my name)

• I google my name.

• I have nicknames that are all Internet related: Google girl, 24/07 Msn Queen, Bloggerbitch, 'Net hoe, Ms.Google, A1 Online Lover, Geek
  

Elephant man has a song: 'On Line' from his cd Higher Level.......I have it and I love it.

Going online relaxes me, it soothes my mind, its a whole new kingdom - this online kingdom.

MY TECHIE PROBLEMS

Well Im a likkle frustrated because I wrote an entire blog entry and it wont post because my "font tag isnt closed"..........

Also my beloved Firefox has let me down, I installed the new version of Firfox 1.5 and my LiveBookmarks wont load, "Live Bookmark feed failed to load".........

My pc is my source of relaxation. When I say my pc that is inclusive of the Internet which is inclusive of Gmail, Msn Messenger, Google and my blog. To relax myself I go online.
So it is extremely frustrating to have my form of relxation frustrate me.
